We want to recruit and offer more than just staff who have the relevant qualifications and meet the required legislation standards. Now, all staff regardless of the level into which they are recruited will be inducted into Alpha 1's security ethos and are encouraged to think of it as an integral part of their service here.
We regard good customer service as being able to understand and empathise with the client and their needs. Therefore you will need to be good at managing information and maintaining efficient communication with customers and their staff as well as your colleagues. We want to be able to say with confidence that all of our staff provide first class customer service.
Our customer service training includes the following;
- Meeting and Greeting; opening and closing of doors
- Helping OAPs
- Helping those who are disabled or bound
- Have a local knowledge of the town/city in which you are working; have local minicab office/s contact number; know where the nearest ATM machine is; nearest restaurants and take away shops; nearest tube station; nearest bus stop/station; last train and buses home
- In case of emergency know where the nearest police station and hospital/A&E are
- Local garages and petrol stations will be another important business to locate
This first class training is provided to produce first class staff. The right people are Alpha 1's most important asset.
Employee development and on-going performance reviews are an integral part of the company and all employees receive a bi-annual appraisal.
Each employee receives a personal development plan to record goals which is then used as a platform to review and discuss performance throughout the year.
Appearance, personal hygiene, verbal and non-verbal communication is vitally important. It demonstrates that our security team recognise that they are working for a professional security company at a prestigious location.
